| The Airmen is a
non-profit organization founded by Vernon Ricks to promote and teach
formation flying. Located in Greenwood, MS, Vernon has probably
taught more civilian warbird and non-warbird pilots safe formation flying
than anyone else in the country. In the 1990's some of us went
through Vernon's program to learn or hone our skills in formation flying.
Not everyone could attend during the one week available; not everyone
could manage a week off to attend; weather patterns often made it
difficult for those attending from a distance. Because of these
factors and the need to train everyone in the B2Osh program we began
offering regional formation training sessions of our own, most of them
short weekend courses at modest cost and closer to home for many.

FAA to issue The Airmen Card, equivalent in all respects to FAST and FFI cards.
With the proper currency he is authorized to renew to an Airmen Card regardless of who initially issued the
