NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ADVANCED FORMATION CLINIC (SCK)

Schedule:
Friday, May 2
1000:  Mandatory Briefing – Miss briefing = no fly
1100-1800:  Practice sessions with break for lunch (provided)
1930:  Dinner at Angelina’s Italian Restaurant (not included in reg fee)

Saturday, May 3
0830:  Mandatory Briefing
0930-1800:  Practice and FFI evaluations with break for lunch (provided)
1930:  Pizza at host’s home

Sunday, May 4
0730:  Mandatory Briefing
0830:  Dawn Patrol Showcase practice over runways (late dawn, if there is such a thing)
1100:  Mass flight to lunch at another airport TBD.

Format:
Practice will focus on proficiency in 2-ship flying, graduating to 4-ship, FFI evaluations for those qualified, and Showcase airshow routines.  Availability of safety pilots will be limited.  FFI Check Pilot Mark Merrill will attend and be available for check rides.  Review all information relative to FFI.

Requirements:  Dual Rudder pedals, working intercom, and the <T-34 Formation Flight Manual>. Please review and be familiar with the Bonanza Specific Addendum to the T-34 Manual, "On You Own" and "Training", all on this web.

Note: the T-34 Flight Manual is apparently undergoing a 5th revision.  While awaiting publication the 4th edition is out of print, no longer available in hard copy, but may be ordered in Adobe pdf format at:
