NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ADVANCED FORMATION CLINIC (SCK)
(“Advanced” for civilians – we know who the “real deals” are.)

This clinic is aimed at:
2-ship qualified pilots (don't need safety pilots) to sharpen their skills to get into 4-ship
Beginning 4-ship flights with safety pilots
FFI certification practice and check rides
FFI card holders to practice airshow routines

FBO:  Atlantic Aviation (formerly Stockton Jet Center).  www.atlanticaviation.com.  Friendly staff with excellent conference room, WSI weather service, and wireless internet.  Ramp Fees waived and fuel discount offered with quick turnaround line service.  Rental cars available through Atlantic.  (209) 982-1622

Attendees successfully completing the clinic are eligible for 60 ABS Aviator points.

Facilities:  Friendly and formation-knowledgeable control tower.  Parallel runways:  9,500’ X 150’ and 4,400’ X 75’.

0800: Morning sorties & FFI check rides

1100: Briefing & mini B2OSH to lunch at The Landing Zone restaurant in Salinas (no host)
1330 - ??: Afternoon sorties at SNS & FFI check rides, if necessary

Format:
Practice will focus on proficiency in 2-ship flying, graduating to 4-ship, FFI evaluations for those qualified, and Showcase airshow routines.  Availability of safety pilots will be limited.  FFI Check Pilot Mark Merrill will attend and be available for check rides.  Review all information relative to FFI.

Requirements:  Dual Rudder pedals, working intercom, and the <T-34 Formation Flight Manual>. Please review and be familiar with the Bonanza Specific Addendum to the T-34 Manual, "On You Own" and "Training", all on this web.
