Olive Branch, TN (OLV)
located about 25 miles southeast of downtown Memphis, a control
tower anxious to have you, a 6,000 x 100' runway, excellent
surrounding terrain.
FBO:
Metro
Aviation Services - a full service FBO offering a $0.40
discount on fuel for the session. Abundant parking on the
south ramp.
Motel:
Fairfield Inn and Suites, 7044 Hacks Cross Rd, a quarter
mile away. Contact Nikki Albritton for guranteed rate of
$69 for a one bed suite or a king bed room. Airport will
provide transportion until 8:000 pm and hotel can provide
transportation later.
Rental cars:
Useful if you want to go into Memphis for the
evening or to Corky's, a great ribs place. Contact Tom at
Thrifty car rental (662) 890-8878 for rate of $ 27.99 for
midsize car and $ 24.99 for compact. They are 0.25 miles away.
Focus is on preparation for B2OSH.
Progression may be possible depending on capability.
Fee: $50.00 to cover food,
refreshments, transportation, miscellaneous expenses.
