WHAT'S IN A NAME?

When registrations expanded, Liz Campbell volunteered to maintain the list on a spreadsheet.  Her file name was b2osh.xls.  The designation B2OSH was thus born.

THE CRUISE

Liz Campbell again reminiscing: "...the year it was so very hot...about four years ago (1998), Adrian Eichhorn's dad and I were talking one evening and discussed how nice it would be to get out on Lake Winnebago for some fresh air.  It was too late for that year.  I began discussions with the hotel almost immediately and set up the first B2osh cruise."  Thus came into being the wonderful Pioneer Princess Cruise the evening following our party.  In 2006 the Pioneer Resort dismantled in preparation for converting to condos.  The Pioneer Princess was sold and the cruise is a wonderful memory of the past.

BUBBA CAMP - SOPRANOS

From "Weebs": What year did "Camp Bubba"  originate? Answer: 1996 in response to the beer, cigars and and redneck jokes, sitting around the lantern in the Bubba Wimbish camp site  whiling away the evening.

The same year Wayne hung the name "Sopranos" on the close group of friends from New Jersey and New York - and the name fit.  Elliott was following their car from the Pioneer Princess to a bar.  When they stopped for a traffic light one of the gang jumped out of the car, pounded on the trunk, yelled: "Keep quiet in there or I'll whack you."  On their left at the light was a patrol car, diagonally across the street a motorcycle cop.  "Guys, there is a time to joke and a time to keep it straight."  Amazingly, when they pulled into the bar parking lot and opened the trunk, there, lying on his back with his legs and arms in the fetal position, was Robert Mark.  They weren't joking.
