La Crosse Hangar Party
The Party Starts at 3:00
The party will be at the LSE airport in the Colgan Air FBO Hangar Friday, the day before the formation flight. Gathering begins around 3:00 p.m., service around 5:30-6:00 p.m.
Transportation.
Transportation is arranged and the schedule is posted. We expect that those arriving early in the afternoon will go to their hotels, check in, return for the party. Those arriving late will just walk the few steps to the party and check into their hotel after the party. Please pack small bag for only your overnight needs. Please do not plan on transporting your main luggage you packed for OSH.
Food & Drink.
- Airtronics CEO Jim Lewis will BBQ for us this years Hangar Party food.
- Wait till you see the BBQ trailer! Tri-tip, chicken, potato salad, Basmati rice, grilled veggies, green salad. All gluten and nut free. Sheet cake for dessert.
- We'll serve Brown Cows, too. What's a Brown Cow? Root beer with ice cream, blended. A step up from a milkshake.
- Beer is donated again by Mike Doble and his wife Joan. They are donating the beer for the Sunday party, too! Mike and Joan own & operate 2 restaurants in Milwaukee. Explorium Brew Pubs.
Children and Families First Please.
Children are our most important and cherished assets. They are the future of everything, including general aviation and B2OSH. All children (under 18) may go immediately to the head of the food line – we are sure you will graciously let them ahead of you. Parents eating with their children may accompany them to the head of the line and be served with them.
Clean-up.
Please be responsible and place your own refuse in the available receptacles after eating. We don't to see dirty plates and empty cups lying around. We need to leave the facility as we found it. We will ask those waiting for a later bus to help fold tables and chairs and stack them where directed. With very little effort this can be easily and quickly accomplished.
Change in Plans - Let us know.
We plan on specific numbers. It is necessary that you list on your registration form an accurate number for those attending this party. If your plans change and you will miss this party, please let us know as soon as possible.
